Antony “Tony” Hill is a Senior Consultant Lawyer with Schembri + McCluskys, bringing more than 30 years of experience in legal practice, with particular expertise in property and commercial law.

Prior to the formation of Schembri + McCluskys in 2022, Tony was Principal of McCluskys Lawyers, a longstanding Port Melbourne legal practice based in Bay Street. In that role, he advised individuals, families and businesses across a broad range of property, commercial and general legal matters, developing extensive experience in conveyancing and real property transactions, commercial and retail leasing, business law, wills and estates, and related areas of general practice.

Tony has maintained a strong connection with the Port Melbourne business and wider community throughout his career. He was a founding member and inaugural President of the Port Melbourne Business Association, established in 1990 to provide a collective voice for businesses in the area. Through the Association, Tony was involved in initiatives that contributed to the development and revitalisation of the Bay Street commercial precinct, including improvements to streetscape, retail amenity and the local business environment.

His community involvement also extends to CaSPA Care, a not-for-profit aged care organisation with facilities in Port Melbourne and South Melbourne. Tony joined the CaSPA Care Board in 2013 and has contributed across governance, finance, risk and property matters. He has also served as Chair of its Property Committee, advising on property strategy, capital investment, redevelopment and acquisition opportunities.

As a lawyer, Tony brings a practical and commercially informed approach to each matter. His broad experience allows him to identify the legal, financial and practical considerations that often intersect in property and business transactions, and to provide clear advice that helps clients make informed decisions.

At Schembri + McCluskys, Tony continues to advise clients across property law, commercial law, wills and estates and general practice, while contributing his extensive experience to the broader legal team.
